1 Hour CT SAFE 2018 State Law Course

This is a new, 1 hour course designed for Connecticut licensed MLOs, and satisfies the 1 hour portion of your continuing education required by the NMLS, ensuring your continued licensure. This course is made up of two separate modules, which both serve to satisfy that 1 hour requirement.

In Module 1, the you will go through about a half hour of information, in topics such as:

• Mortgage Fraud in Connecticut

• General Mortgage Statutes

• Abusive Home Loan Lending Practices Act

In Module 2, the you will go through another half hour of information, including topics like:

• Other Mortgage and Loan Practices

• Provisions and Legal Procedures

• Prohibited Acts

• General Provisions

During the course, there will be in-text questions to help you gauge your knowledge while moving through the class, as well as quizzes and activities in the form of case studies after each module, to test your learning ability as you go.

There is also a final exam of 15 questions at the end of the class.
