Real estate professionals in the District of Columbia who complete this course will gain six hours of elective training.
This course will look at contracts and contract law including discussion of contract formation and termination. In addition, the course will talk about the types of contracts used in real estate transactions.
The course content will discuss the loan estimate and the closing disclosure, the disclosure forms implemented by the TILA-RESPA Rule.
The content will examine the concept of professional errors and omissions, common errors and omissions, and strategies for preventing or mitigating errors and omissions.
Lastly, the course will explore ethics, ethical behavior, and ethical duties. This segment also contains some practical situations designed to show how ethics apply to the real circumstances.
