One aspect of real estate sales that is too often overlooked is safety when showing properties. Hazards include damaged or poorly maintained property, unfamiliarity with the environment, an intentional criminal attack, or one that arises from interacting with squatters or foreclosure victims, etc. it can also involve destruction of a client’s property during the showing, The class looks at how to identify threats, practical steps to take both before and during a showing that can enhance safety, and what insurance would be helpful if an accident or injury nevertheless occurs.
