This 2-hour core course is designed especially for Mississippi licensees to satisfy the core contract education requirement. It will begin with a recap of general contract law, which includes the requirements for a valid contract, when a contract is considered performed or discharged, and the possible consequences and remedies of breach of contract.
We'll look at some contract clauses in-depth, with a particular focus on those used in real estate contracts.
At the end of this class students will be able to understand how contracts are created and enforced, as well as how contracts are terminated and what to do after termination of a contract.
They'll be able to identify the different parts of a contract, create legally binding real estate contracts, and understand the unique aspects of sales agreements and be able to create and utilize robust sales agreement contracts.
The course will conclude with a 20-question test.
