The 8-Hour SAFE Comprehensive Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) CE Course for North Dakota was developed for the benefit of the North Dakota MLO needing a convenient and professionally designed option to meet their continuing education needs. This course covers both the state and federal aspects of mortgage loan origination, including North Dakota-specific laws, regulations, and procedures. Among the critical issues you'll find discussed in this course are in-depth looks into the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 (SAFE Act), ethics for MLOs, fraud and consumer protection, lending standards for non-traditional mortgages, and updates regarding laws, regulations, and enforcement powers in mortgage loan origination. We'll also go over some of the highlights of the Truth-In-Lending-Act and Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (TILA-RESPA) Integrated Mortgage Disclosure Act (TRID).
