The course begins with discussion of rules and laws that govern the practice of real estate. This includes the statutes and administrative code that establish how a licensee should complete their duties.

We’ll also look at the topics of agency, advertising, and contracts, including the purchase agreement, before we move on to the topics of property management and commercial leases. We’ll also review how to keep proper trust account records and supervise employees, including a discussion of leadership issues.

Next, we’ll review some real estate finance topics, including different sources of financing, government loan programs, and alternative financing options. We’ll also talk about the disclosure requirements that lenders are subject to when making a home loan.

After that, we’ll move on to the important topic of ethics. This will include the general concepts behind the notion of ethics, as well as how to apply ethics as a real estate agent. We’ll also cover the NAR code of ethics, which sets the industry standard for ethical licensee behavior.

The course will use short quizzes to assess student learning, and they’ll appear periodically throughout the course.

It would be great if you could make the courses like NAR Ethics and Finance separate for the other states I’m licensed in outside of TN. In other words, the courses outside of the 6hr TN core class. For Georgia my license number is 256030.
