This 18-hour CE package is for sales agents and brokers in Texas who are not renewing for the first time. It includes:

Texas 18-Hour Designated Broker Package

This 18-hour CE package is for designated brokers in Texas, as well as sales agents and brokers who have supervising responsibilities or have sponsored one or more sales agents. This package is not for first-time renewals. It includes:

TX RE Broker Responsibilities (2023-2024)

This 6-hour course will fulfill your continuing education requirements for broker responsibility training, which will cover one third of the 18-hour CE requirement for license holders. This course will address delegated supervisors, ensuring competency, especially in regard to proper use of forms, and licensee training issues among others.

Texas 7 Hour Real Estate Business Practices

This 7-hour package of educational content is designed to provide Texas real estate professionals with an overview of important topics and concepts related to the management of a real estate business. These topics covered in this package generally fall into three areas: management of real estate business, recordkeeping, and safety when showing a property.

Texas 4 Hour 2022-2023 CE Legal Update Part 1

Real estate license holders in Texas must be knowledgeable of recent changes to state and federal real estate regulations presented in this Legal Update course. This four-hour continuing education course is part one of a two-part set required for license renewal. Core topics include: Legislative Changes and TREC Rule Updates, Promulgated Contract Forms and Addenda, Fair Housing, Landlord-Tenant Issues and Property Management.

Texas 4 Hour 2022-2023 CE Legal Update Part 2

Real estate license holders in Texas must be knowledgeable of recent changes to state and federal real estate regulations presented in this Legal Update course. This four-hour continuing education course is part two of a two-part set required for license renewal. Core topics include: Agency, with special attention paid to fiduciary duties and ethical behavior of license holders; Water and Mineral Rights; and Ad Valorem Taxes and Valuation.

Texas 3 Hour Real Estate Contracts Course

This approved Texas real estate CE course fulfills 3 out the 18 hours required to renew your license as well as the Contracts requirement. Topics of interest include such items as key terms, governing bodies, contracts used in real estate, buyer agency agreements, and lease agreements.

Texas 1 Hour Fair
Housing

This class will provide licensees with 1 hour of continuing education to apply to their Texas real estate license. Subjects covered include the history of unfair housing practices that led to fair housing legislation, as well as some of the most recent executive orders regarding fair housing.

Texas Real Estate License Renewal Dates and Continuing Education Requirements

Real estate licensees in Texas must renew their license every two years, by the end of the month in which their license was first issued. Real estate agents and brokers renewing after the first renewal must complete 18 hours of CE. The 6-hour broker responsibility course must be completed as part of your 18-hour CE requirement if you have been made a supervisor or have sponsored one or more sales agents.
