By completing this course, real estate professionals in the state of Alaska will gain eight hours of training on a number of important topics. The following are the topics covered in this course:

  • Wire fraud and feed fraud
  • A portion of this course will address two specific types of fraudulent schemes: wire fraud and deed fraud. The content of the course will examine what constitutes a wire fraud or deed fraud scheme along with the laws that establish the consequences of perpetrating these types of schemes.
  • Advertising, social media, and AI compliance
  • A portion of this course deals with the marketing of real estate, particularly advertising that utilizes the internet and social media. This portion of the course also looks at artificial intelligence programs and how they affect the real estate industry.
  • Broker supervision and conflict resolution
  • A portion of the course talks about the responsibility real estate brokers have to supervise other real estate professionals they employ. This portion of the course also discusses means of resolving disputes between real estate professionals and between real estate professionals and their clients and customers.
  • Required licensee disclosures
  • A portion of this course explores additional responsibilities of real estate professionals including disclosures, licensee relationships, and prohibited conduct.

This course is broken up by activities and quizzes designed to promote comprehension and retention of the information that is presented.
