This course gives the California real estate agent 3 elective credit hours toward renewing their license, with a focus on best serving consumers by protecting the property, the client, and the licensee against hazards, dangers, errors, and omissions, as well as liability and liability insurance principles:
- This module covers safety concerns that may arise when showing a property that a real estate professional must be prepared to handle. In each case, field-tested safety techniques and practices are suggested that have been shown to protect licensees, clients, and property.
- Then the course will review liability and liability insurance principles, including the types of liability, as well as a deeper dive on the definitions of liability, peril, negligence, and the types of loss. Additionally the types of damages and how those are determined and who and what liability insurance covers are discussed.
