This three-hour course equips real estate agents in Tennessee with the skills to successfully execute complex rural property sales. It covers essential topics in brokerage and valuation while also addressing financing, zoning, environmental factors, and land use rights.

After completing the training program, students will be able to:

  • Identify loan, grant and alternative financing options for agricultural clients
  • Recognize the relevance of metes and bounds in property descriptions and contracts for rural properties
  • Evaluate the role of infrastructure, water rights and zoning regulations in farm and ranch real estate transactions
  • Confidently guide clients through the process of buying or selling farm and ranch properties, ensuring compliance with industry regulations
