Wisconsin 3 Hour Real Estate Listing Contracts: Course 1
This 3-hour course (Course 1), which is required continuing education for license renewal, is designed to provide Wisconsin real estate professionals with a solid background in agency relationships and disclosures, managing multiple representation arrangements, inspection duties, using the Exclusive Right to Sell representation agreement, and the obligations of licensees as parties to a transaction. Plus, this course offers an extensive review of disclosure duties and licensee obligations under Wisconsin Statute Ch. 452.
Wisconsin 3 Hour Real Estate Offers to Purchase Course 2
This 3-hour course, which is required continuing education for license renewal, covers a variety of critical topics for licensees including the handling of "as is" sales transactions, dealing with real estate transfer fees, working with the TILA-RESPA disclosures, and using the Wisconsin Real Estate Examiners Board (WB) Offers to Purchase forms. In addition, we'll take a look into customer and licensee safety, insurability of real properties, and the licensee's obligations as the buyer in a real estate transaction, among other topics.
Wisconsin 3 Hour Real Estate New Developments: Course 3
This 3-hour course, which is required continuing education for renewal of a Wisconsin license, covers the most recent developments in legislative, administrative, and judicial actions that affect the state's real estate industry. In addition, we provide an overview of significant changes to commonly used buyers representation and other pertinent real estate forms, as well as introducing a new one, the WB-38 Commercial Buyer Agency/Tenant Representation Agreement.
Wisconsin 3 Hour Real Estate Ethics and Fair Housing: Course 4
This 3-hour course, which is required continuing education for license renewal, covers a variety of topics crucial to the real estate profession regarding ethics, communications, and the role of the National Association of REALTORS® Code of Ethics in the daily life of the real estate professional. Also covered, are the matters of buyer agency, procuring cause and how it is determined, dispute resolution and how it relates to procuring cause, and other topics to help achieve a license renewal.
Wisconsin 3 Hour Real Estate New Construction: Elective A
This 3-hour course, which is an elective applicable to continuing education for license renewal in Wisconsin. The new construction course covers very basic construction information regarding common residential construction features including, roofs and siding, home styles and construction styles, vacant land listings, and construction loans. We'll also cover land use controls, public and private, builder certification and builder warranties. Also, the role of the title company and the impact of liens on real estate transactions are covered here.
Wisconsin 3 Hour Financing: Elective C
This 3-hour course, which is an elective applicable to continuing education for license renewal in Wisconsin. This course focuses on a variety of financing-related subjects including financing contingencies on the Wisconsin Real Estate Examining Board (WB) Offers to Purchase forms, the availability of government assistance in the real estate market, and seller financing, as well as 1031 exchanges and lease options. Plus, we'll take a long look at the TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosure (TRID) and Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act (SAFE Act) among other current topics.
CE Requirements to Renew a WI Real Estate License
- Salespersons and Brokers must complete 18 hours of continuing education per biennium.
- These 18 hours are to be made up of six different three hour long modules with specific course content approved by the Real Estate Examining Board.
- Continuing Education must be completed by December 14th of even numbered years.
