Core Course for Brokers and Associate Brokers III

This is a 3 hour continuing education course that satisfies the 3 hour core curriculum requirements for real estate brokers and associate brokers in the state of Maine. The primary focus of this course will be on communication, and will cover the following main topics: Review of Revised Statutes, The Real Estate Brokerage Relationships Form, and Advertising.

In addition to the main topics, these topics will be covered in the class as well:

• Disclosed Dual Agency
• When to Give the Real Estate Brokerage Relationships Form
• Electronic Delivery of the Real Estate Brokerage Relationships Form
• The Point of Decision
• What is Advertising?
• Trademark/Service Mark
• Written Permission to Advertise
• Pocket Listing
• Deceptive and Acceptable Advertising
• Fair Housing

During the course, there will be in-text questions to help the student gauge their knowledge while moving through the class. There is also a final exam of 15 questions at the end of the class.
