-
3.75 Hour Course
- $35.00
This course, entitled 7/1/25-6/30/26 Salesperson & Broker Required Module (Contracts), will fulfill 3.75 hours toward the total 15 hours required for license renewal for brokers and salespersons in the state of Minnesota. All non-exempt salespersons and brokers must complete this required module course before June 30, 2026.
The course is intended to provide real estate licensees with an enhanced understanding of contracts, disclosure obligations, contingency options, and more. Information about Facilitator Services Agreements and Common Interest Community properties will be covered, among other state and federal laws and rules governing real estate contracts.
This course will satisfy the state's 1-Hour Broker Module Requirement of the Minnesota Department of Commerce; in other words, there is no separate broker module course for 2025-2026. However, this course will not satisfy the 1 hour of Fair Housing nor the 1 hour of Agency Law that is required as part of the 15 hours required for renewal.
Course Learning Objectives
By taking this course, salespersons and brokers will:
- gain a clearer understanding of legal requirements in real estate contracts;
- analyze various contracts, addendums, and agreements while identifying common form-related issues in transactions;
- develop strategies to prevent contractual risks and mistakes; and
- enhance their ability to guide buyers and sellers through complex real estate transactions with confidence.
At the end of the course, salespersons and brokers will be required to complete a 20-question exam that is designed to promote comprehension and retention of the material.
