The Oklahoma 8-Hour SAFE Comprehensive Mortgage Loan Originators (MLOs) Continuing Education Course is designed specifically for Oklahoma MLOs needing to keep up with their continuing education needs in a convenient and easily accessible manner. Our course covers both the state and federal aspects of mortgage loan origination, including Oklahoma-specific laws, regulations, and procedures. Also included are in-depth looks into the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 (SAFE Act), ethics for MLOs, fraud and consumer protection, lending standards for non-traditional mortgages, subprime loans, reverse mortgages, and updates regarding laws, regulations, and enforcement powers in mortgage loan origination. We'll also take time to review changes initiated by the Truth-In-Lending-Act and Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (TILA-RESPA) Integrated Mortgage Disclosure Act (TRID).
