This course is approved by the New Hampshire Real Estate Commission to provide licensees with 3 hours of elective continuing education credits. This course covers the basic sources of real estate financing. Students will learn the basic principles behind acquiring a home loan so they may better guide their clients through the process. This course will cover the following topics of sources of financing, loans and loan programs, and government loans.
The first section is sources of financing, covering the different sources of financing for buyers, down payment assistance programs, financial markets, and federal monetary controls. Next up is loans and loan programs, including general concepts, loan application processes, and types of loans. The course concludes with government loan programs, including FHA and VA, as well as other federal programs.
