Real estate professionals in Illinois who are looking to complete all of the core education requirements have come to the right place. This six hour packages contains training that will fulfil both the Core A and Core B requirements.
The course begins by exploring fair housing and major fair housing legislation.
The course then will talk about Illinois laws, rules, and regulations that affect brokerage relationships between real estate professionals.
Then, the course content will look at state regulations on real estate licenses and licensing.
After that, the course will examines the proper handling of escrow monies and the use of escrow accounts.
Next, this course looks over some of the primary federal laws, rules, and regulations governing mortgage lending. This topic will examine the Truth in Lending Act, the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, the TILA-RESPA Rule, and the Equal Credit Opportunity Act.
From there, the course will discuss mortgage fraud and predatory lending practices. Included in this will be a segment on protecting yourself and your clients from fraud and predatory lending.
At this point, the content of the course will explore the Illinois Residential Real Property Disclosure Act.
Then, this course will examine the main laws of the state that govern the actions of landlords and tenants.
To end, the course will talk about foreclosure, the foreclosure process, and ways foreclosure can be stopped or prevented entirely.
In the interest of improving student comprehension, understanding, and retention of the material, the course contains two 25 question exams.
