This course contains six hours of continuing education on elective topics. It is specifically designed for real estate professionals in the State of Kansas.

The first topic to be covered in this course is fair housing. This topic contains an overview of the history of fair housing efforts, an exploration of the fair housing act, and a discussion of of federal regulations that support fair housing. In addition this topic will address the process for filing fair housing complaints.

The other major topic to be examined in this course is the financing or real estate transactions. This topic includes a look at the sources of money, the types of mortgage loans that can be taken out, and the primary government loan assistance programs.

At the end of the course, students will take a 24 question exam for the purpose of improving student comprehension and retention of material.
