Real estate licensees in Kansas must dedicate at least 3 of their 12 sit down hours on core content determined by Kansas Real Estate Commission. Brokers will need an additional 3 (6 total) hours of core credits.

This course satisfies only the 3 hours of core required to be spent on misrepresentation and brokerage relationships. First, we'll discuss types of errors and omissions, including misrepresentation, negligence, fraud, and intentional vs. unintentional mistakes. Next, our course walks licensees through prevention and mitigation methods.

The second topic of real estate brokerage relationships is explained with reference to specific state laws. We'll guide you through acceptable practices in real estate transactions with clients and other licensees. There will be a 25 question exam about the course material, which students must pass to earn their Certificate of Completion.

Good review!

I have taken this class 4 times - some at AYPO- some others . I find the section on agency to be confusing. I think that a chart or table would be helpful. I struggle with the concept that an apartment could not ban bicycles as a safety-related item.

Test questions should be reviewed periodically for appropriateness. Thanks!

Don't like that it says I only need an 80% but makes you get a 90% and fill out this questionnaire before completing. Doubtful I'll use this site again.

Informative but information presented in a boring manner.

the question on tax advice is very misleading. I am an attorney and the reference to Section 1035 is on exchanges to insurance policies---not real estate (1031 or 1033). our course suggested not giving tax advice and talked about it being ok to give info from assessor's office. Also, the question on E &O insurance is misleading. The issue only comes up if there is a loss by the customer and is designed to cover the loss of that customer that would otherwise have to be paid by the agent for making the mistake

test questions do not always follow the course material. Also, there are mistakes in the test question answers. Material could be presented much better.

This course had SO MUCH text. It was hard to read being online. Would have been nice to have an outline or PDF that I could print.
