Kansas Real Estate Continuing Education Package

  • 12 Hour Course
  • $99.00

This 12-hour package fulfills Kansas Real Estate Commission (KREC) requirements for license renewal. It covers essential topics like brokerage relationships, customer protection, advertising, reporting requirements, fair housing and antidiscrimination laws, financing, and transfer documents.

The package begins with the Required Core course, which consists of nine sections covering the Brokerage Relationships in Real Estate Transactions Act (BRRETA), agents and agency, common violations, the complaint process and penalties, advertising, education requirements and license expiration, reporting, and requirements for working with foreign licensees in commercial real estate transactions.

Next, we move on to the Fair Housing, Financing, and Legal Agreements course, which contains three sections. The first section delves into the history and laws surrounding fair housing. The second section discusses the sources of financing and loan programs available for homebuyers, along with various financial systems and government loan programs that assist individuals in securing financing for their real estate purchases. Finally, the third section of this course focuses on listing agreements, sales agreements, title transfers, and types of deeds, as well as the implications of wills, encumbrances, foreclosures, and short sales.

Following each course, there is a final exam designed to test your knowledge and help you apply what you've learned. Once you're finished, you'll have completed all the necessary continuing education requirements for renewing your license at your own pace!
