This 40-hour pre-licensing course will prepare you for the Michigan Real Estate Salesperson exam! In the course, we’ll cover a lot of principles and practices that you’ll need as a real estate licensee.

Our courses are set up so that you cannot fail! You can keep working on the course as long as you need to learn the fundamental concepts of real estate.

We’ll begin with the basic principles that licensees need to know to perform as agents, including ethics, antitrust laws, and agency relationships. We’ll talk about the fair housing laws that licensees need to know and abide by, and we’ll practice some real estate math for use during transactions.

You’ll learn about the legal descriptions of property, as well as the finer points of ownership and property values. We’ll talk about some basic contract law, the different types of tenancies, and how titles and deeds are transferred.

When we get to financing, we’ll learn about the different kinds of loans that are available to buyers, as well as the mortgage disclosures required by federal law.

We’ll look specifically at the concepts that apply to condos, as well as to landlord/tenant law.

Environmental issues will be addresses before we move onto Michigan-specific issues including licensing and disclosure regulations. The course ends with a final exam to help prepare you for the licensing exam.

Growing up in a military family, Sheri became very patriotic, developed an adventurous spirit, and grew passionate about helping people.

I like that you can do it at your own pace. The information is repetitive in some areas that are critical, which helps in learning it. The questions on the end test really make you think and are different each time you take it.

I really enjoyed the class. I was able to do the class in 3 days. Put in longer hours than going to the in seat class. A lot of the stuff was repetitive or common sense but that was nothing to do with the course but the materials. Glad to be able to do this in the comfort of my own home.

There are several typos and mis-used grammar throughout the course and final exam. Additionally, some of the property tax questions are not correct given Michigan Law.

There was some punctuation and grammatical errors and some links links to websites that didn't work. I also didn't like the fact that some of the lessons were restricted with time slides.

Am not sure this course is regularly maintained provides latest information. Several of the sections refer to dates such as 1994, 2013 without a mention if any changes have occurred subsequent to those dates. Also, there were many typos that I would expect should have been corrected with regular review of the content.
