Minnesota 2020-2021 Required Module: Minnesota Disclosure Laws

This course looks at disclosure requirements for residential property in the state of Minnesota. This includes disclosure requirements for real estate licensees and sellers, with special focus on material facts, material fact exemptions, seller liability, and seller disclosure alternatives. You will learn that certain disclosure items cannot be waived (including lead-based paint, asbestos, wells, and hazardous waste) while others are mandatory non-disclose, as well as special and general requirements for disclosure. At the end of the course, you will get a brief overview of what issues may arise with disclosure (specifically, misrepresentation, negligence, fraud, and mistakes) and how to avoid them. 

This course has been approved for both real estate brokers and salespeople, and also satisfies the 1-hour broker-module training requirement.
