This 2-plus hour course is designed specifically for Minnesota licensees to educate them on the concept of agency.
Topics we'll cover in the course include the formation of an agency relationship, the parties to an agency agreement, and the duties of each of those parties. Additionally, we'll identify the different types of agency and the authority each arrangement imparts to the agent. We'll also cover termination of an agency relationship, and some specific qualities of agency as it applies in real estate.
At the end of this class students will be able to apply the legal foundations of agency relationships, identify the methods for creating agency relationships and agency authority, identify the different types of agency relationships, fulfill their ethical duties as agents, and apply the common law agency principles to the agency relationships used in the real estate profession.
This course ends with a 12-question final exam.
