This 8-hour course is designed specifically to meet the continuing education needs required for all mortgage loan originators (MLOs) in Missouri, covering both the federal aspects of mortgage loan origination, as well as Missouri-specific laws, regulations, and procedures. Critical elements of this course include in-depth looks into the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 (SAFE Act), the Missouri state version of the SAFE Act, ethics for MLOs, lending standards for non-traditional mortgages, and updated laws and regulations, as well as enforcement powers in mortgage loan origination. We'll also take time to go over some of the ins and out of the Truth-In-Lending-Act and Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (TILA-RESPA) Integrated Mortgage Disclosure Act (TRID). Additionally, in this course you'll be provided with quizzes and activities to help hone your mortgage loan originating skills.
