Missouri 3 Hour Core NAR Ethics

This 3-Hour core on ethics looks at the National Association of REALTORS® Code of Ethics to provide an in-depth exploration of some of the key concepts behind ethics and professionalism in the Missouri real estate industry. Participants will apply the lessons from the NAR® Code to daily practice, including proper disclosure of agency relationships, professionalism in interactions with customers and other professionals, and the use of respectful discourse in the real estate industry. Further, participants will improve abilities to:

  • Use contract language that is specific, clear, concise, and understandable
  • Work with the public without interference in agency relationships, and
  • Protect and respect the rights of parties involved in ethics complaints or hearings

Additionally, licensees will use communications, relationship building, and client interaction skills to improve their service delivery. And, participants will apply their skills to the technical aspects of preparing agreements and offers, accessing and navigating the NAR Arbitration process, and the filing and management of grievances.
