The Montana Board of Realty Regulation has approved this course for 2 Hours of Contract Law CE Credit. The course will include topics such as the definitions of contracts, the requirements for the validity of a contract, and the different types of real estate contracts.
This course starts with the general knowledge of contract law, requirements for validity, assignment and novation, when a contract is considered performed or discharged, breach of contract, and different contract clauses. The course continues with specific real estate contracts, contract categories, listing agreements, buyer-broker agreements, tenant representation agreements, offers/purchase agreements, land sale contracts, leases, and other real estate contracts.
