Our 10-Hour Nevada SAFE Comprehensive Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) Continuing Education Course was developed specifically to assist the Nevada MLO in meeting their continuing education needs required for all Nevada MLOs, covering the federal aspects of mortgage loan origination, as well as providing a look at Nevada-specific laws, regulations, and procedures. Critical elements of this course include in-depth looks into the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 (SAFE Act), the Nevada state version of the SAFE Act, ethics for MLOs, subprime and high cost loans, lending standards for non-traditional mortgages, and updated laws and regulations as well as enforcement powers in mortgage loan origination. The course also offers a review of the impact of the Truth-In-Lending-Act and Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (TILA-RESPA) Integrated Mortgage Disclosure Act (TRID). Plus, there's plenty of Nevada-specific regulation, such as licensing exemptions, escrow and trust accounts, disclosures and advertising, and renewal and continuing education updates. Additionally, in this course you'll be provided with quizzes and activities to help hone your mortgage loan originating skills.
