In this course you will find four hours of elective continuing education content that is intended for real estate professionals in North Carolina. The content focuses on federal lending laws and related provisions.
The course begins with a discussion of the Truth in Lending Act (TILA), and the associated piece of federal law Regulation Z. Then, the course will examine the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA). From there, the course will address the TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosure Rule (TILA-RESPA Rule) and the two disclosure forms that it established. Last, the course will look at the Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA) and the Home Ownership and Equity Protection Act (HOEPA).
To assist with comprehension and retention, the course is broken up by a series of short incremental quizzes.
