The Ohio 30-Hour Real Estate continuing education package provides the 30 hours of professional development required for license maintenance and renewal for an Ohio real estate salesperson. The package includes both the 21 hours of electives and the 9 hours of required core studies. This course package covers a wide variety of topics such as the lending laws, disclosures, sources of financing, including down payment assistance, the financial markets, and federal monetary control. Also included are discussions of a variety of loans and loan programs, including government, mortgages and deeds of trust, and other financing documents. There's also a section on the mathematics of real estate such as general math concepts, valuation calculations, appreciation and depreciation, and loan calculation. In addition, we'll explore the Ohio Canon of Ethics for the real estate industry and Ohio real estate-related civil rights. Plus, we'll discuss the use of criminal records in fair housing practices and take a look into the role and function of the Ohio Civil Rights commission. And, we'll top it all off with a series of activities designed to test and enhance your real estate professional skills.
