Real estate brokers in Ohio must dedicate 12 of their 30 continuing education hours on core content and 18 on elective topics. This package compiles core and elective courses to satisfy the full 30 hours required, meaning brokers can apply for renewal immediately upon completion of this series. There are four core courses in this package, each 3 hours long, and eight elective course topics at about 2 hours each.
The core courses cover Principal Broker Responsibilities, Civil Rights and Fair Housing law, the Canon of Ethics in the Ohio real estate industry, and recent legislative changes of the last few years. Learn how to manage a brokerage, maintain exceptional records management, address ethical dilemmas that arise, avoid discriminatory practices, and adopt new legal changes while ensuring old ones are still in place.
Elective courses in this series explore such topics as
- Loan programs
- Regulatory law
After each lesson, students will be asked a single question about the material. Videos and images are utilized throughout the course to aid visual and auditory learning styles.
