This real estate financing course will meet 6 hours of Oregon’s 30 hour CE requirement for current licensees.
We’ll start by examining some of the most important lending laws in real estate: those related to disclosure. This portion of the class will prepare licensees to guide their clients through the lending process as they attain a mortgage.
Then we’ll take a look at financing a real estate purchase, including different sources of financing and the types of loans they offer. We’ll also review government loan programs that are available, and some non traditional financing methods such as sale and leaseback.
Lastly, we’ll look at financing documents, including mortgages, deeds of trust, and others. Throughout the course, students will complete short quizzes to test their comprehension.
