Our Puerto Rico 8-Hour SAFE Comprehensive Mortgage Loan Originators (MLO) Continuing Education Course is designed specifically for MLOs in Puerto Rico needing to keep up with their continuing education needs in a convenient and easily accessible manner. In this course, we'll cover both the local and federal aspects of mortgage loan origination. Also included in this course, you'll find in-depth looks into the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 (SAFE Act), ethics for MLOs, fraud and consumer protection, lending standards for non-traditional mortgages, subprime loans, and reverse mortgages. Plus, we'll provide updates regarding Puerto Rico's laws, regulations, and enforcement powers in mortgage loan origination. We'll also take time to review changes initiated by the Truth-In-Lending-Act and Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (TILA-RESPA) Integrated Mortgage Disclosure Act (TRID).
