South Carolina 4 Hour 2020-2022 Core - A Walk Through the Law
This course fulfills the mandatory core requirements for South Carolina Real Estate licensees' continuing education. This is for the 2020-2022 license renewal period, and completes the mandatory four hours of core material out of the ten total for license renewal. This core course focuses on helping you navigate and understand license law so that you can easily apply the laws in your daily real estate practice.
South Carolina 6 Hour Real Estate Financing Package
This 6 hour package of educational content is designed to provide South Carolina real estate professionals with an overview of important topics and concepts related to the financing of real estate transactions. This package is primarily concerned with the financing of real estate transactions. This package will cover such topics as relevant lending laws, sources of funds, loans, government loan programs, and documents used in the financing of real estate transactions.

SC 4 3 Ps of Professionalism: Principles, Practices & Pitfalls
This course fulfills 4 hours of credit for South Carolina Real Estate licensees continuing education. This was the required core for the 2018-2020 license renewal period, but now counts as elective credit. This course focuses on the Three Ps of Professionalism and how they apply to a licensee's job. The course will explain the Principles, Practices, and Pitfalls of working with consumers, identifying potential issues, and understanding new law changes.
South Carolina 4 Hour Broker In Charge Course
This course will fulfill your core requirement for your Broker In Charge license and will cover multiple topics that relate to the role of the broker-in-charge in the South Carolina real estate profession. Subjects include the basic duties and responsibilities of serving as the broker-in-charge (BIC), transaction brokerage and other licensing law updates, management and supervision, managing client trust accounts, broker relationships, office policies and more.
South Carolina 3 Hour National Association of REALTORS Code of Ethics
In this 3-hour course for South Carolina licensees, we'll dive into the concept of ethics, and how it applies to real estate professionals. To do this, we'll look at the NAR Code of Ethics that REALTORS® are subject to. Even those who aren't REALTORS® will benefit from this review of the code that sets the industry standard for ethical behavior.
In the course, we'll talk about what ethics are, and why they matter in real estate. We'll also discuss the duties of a REALTOR® to a client, and what to do in ethically challenging situations.
This course is approved by a local NAR association to satisfy the NAR Code of Ethics training requirement.
South Carolina TRID Safely in a Flood of Disclosures
This course will satisfy 4-hours of elective education for South Carolina real estate licensees.
The course will cover three important areas related to the practice of real estate: TRID regulations, property condition disclosures, and flood instruction and insurance considerations.
South Carolina Real Estate License Renewal Dates and Continuing Education Requirements
- South Carolina real estate agents must complete 10 hours of continuing education every two years in order to renew their license.
- By June 30th, licensees will need to complete the following to renew their license:
- 4 Hour Core Course.
- 6 Hours of commission approved Electives.
- Brokers in Charge will need to complete:
- 4 Hour Broker in Charge Course.
- 4 Hour Core Course.
- 2 Hours of commission approved Electives.
- NAR Members: NAR's Board of Directors approved a change to the Code of Ethics training requirement, extending the current cycle deadline from Dec. 31, 2020, to Dec. 31, 2021.
