Our Texas 8-Hour SAFE Comprehensive Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) Continuing Education Course was developed specifically to help Texas MLOs meet their continuing education requirements with a smartly organized and professionally presented continuing education package. In this presentation, we'll cover both Texas and federal aspects of mortgage loan origination, as well as focus on several crucial subjects including the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 (SAFE Act), ethics for MLOs, fraud and consumer protection, lending standards for non-traditional mortgages, subprime loans, and reverse mortgages. And, we'll provide updates regarding Texas laws, regulations, and enforcement powers in mortgage loan origination. We'll also spend time updating and reviewing changes stemming from the Truth-In-Lending-Act and Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (TILA-RESPA) Integrated Mortgage Disclosure Act (TRID). And, to top it all off, we've provided a variety of quizzes and activities designed to challenge and improve your mortgage loan originating skills.
