Our 8-hour SAFE Comprehensive Mortgage Loan Originators (MLO) Continuing Education Course for Vermont was developed specifically to help Vermont MLOs meet their continuing education requirements with a smartly organized and professionally presented continuing education package. In this course, we'll cover both state and federal aspects of mortgage loan origination. This means that we'll present a focus on several crucial subjects including the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 (SAFE Act), ethics for MLOs, fraud and consumer protection, lending standards for non-traditional mortgages, subprime loans, fraud and consumer protection, and reverse mortgages. Plus, we'll provide updates regarding Vermont laws, regulations, and enforcement powers in mortgage loan origination. We'll also spend time discussing the impact of the Truth-In-Lending-Act and Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (TILA-RESPA) Integrated Mortgage Disclosure Act (TRID). And, to help tie it all together, we've provided quizzes and activities designed to test and challenge your mortgage loan originating skills.
