Vermont 24 Hour 2016-2018 Renewal Cycle: Broker Package

  • 24 Hour Course
  • $165.00

In this 24 hour course for the Vermont Licensed Real Estate Broker, you will receive not only the mandatory 4 hour core requirement, but the 20 hours of elective subjects as well. The course begins with the mandatory core segment, which covers areas of land use controls such as zoning and Act 250 Permits. It also gives students a solid overview of Vermont's agency guidelines and those new additions to the Administrative Code.

We'll start the second segment by covering real estate concepts dealing with agency and contracts, like legal descriptions, transfers of title, and encumbrances. As we move further into the course, we provide a look into subjects involving financing, including topics such as sources of financing, financing documents, and title insurance and escrow. We'll also take a look at Real Estate Contracts and Loan Programs, as we start with basic contract law and then get more specific in real estate contracts. Then we'll move forward into such subjects as listing and sale agreements, before finishing up the section with Loans and loan programs, including government loan programs.

As we head into the last turn for the course, we'll examine ethical practices that include anti-discrimination laws, fair housing practices, and errors and omissions. Finally, we will end with an informative segment on real estate agent safety.
