This 2 hour class is for real estate brokers who are licensed in the state of Virginia, and is intended to cover those topics required for broker supervision and duties. The class begins with an examination of changes to continuing education requirements, both for the broker and for the salespersons they supervise. Then the course moves into the duties of the supervising broker in the field.
From there, the student will will examine the requirements for record keeping and advertising, especially in the light of the supervising broker role. This will be followed by a listing of the updated requirements for protection of escrow funds. Finally, the student will be given an overview of other areas of broker supervision, as well as prohibited acts according to code. The course will finish off with a short section on the Broker Self Audit process and what it covers.
At the end of the class, the student will take a short 5 question final quiz in order to check their progress.
