Our 9-Hour West Virginia SAFE Comprehensive Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) Continuing Education Course is specifically designed for MLOs in West Virginia needing to meet their continuing education needs. The course covers the state and federal aspects of mortgage loan origination, including West Virginia-specific laws, regulations, and procedures. The subjects focused on here include many of the most critical regulations pertaining to mortgage loan origination, such as the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 (SAFE Act), the West Virginia version of the SAFE Act, ethics for MLOs, fraud and consumer protection, subprime and high cost loans, lending standards for non-traditional mortgages, and reverse mortgages.
