This 18-hour course is approved by the state of Wisconsin to fulfill your CE requirements as a real estate agent.
The course will begin with a class on Wisconsin listing agreements, where we'll discuss agency relationships, inspections, and the disclosure duties of an agent. Then, we'll review offers to purchase real estate. Some of the main topics we'll cover include multiple offers, transfer and other fees, and what "as-is" really means in a real estate transaction.
Following that, we'll take a look at some of the most recent state and federal developments pertaining to real estate in our core class. This includes a review of the newest version of the buyer/tenant representation form.
In our Ethics and Fair Housing class, we'll cover the concept of ethics, and how it applies in real estate transactions. This includes a discussion of the NAR Code of Ethics, the logic of "procuring cause", and appropriate methods of dispute resolution, when two parties to a transaction cannot resolve an issue themselves.
After that, we'll talk about new construction, and the basic elements of construction that make up a dwelling. We'll examine the differences in purchasing vacant land, using construction loans, and land controls to understand.
The course concludes with a class on financing resources for homebuyers and others, such as government loans, seller financing, and 1031 exchanges.
This course includes periodic quizzes as required by Wisconsin.
