This 3-hour course on real estate Financing, which is an elective that is applicable to continuing education credit for renewing a Wisconsin real estate license. This course focuses on a variety of financing-related subjects including:
- Financing contingencies on the Wisconsin Real Estate Examining Board (WB) Offers to Purchase forms
- The availability of government assistance in the real estate market for a variety of services, such as:
- Mortgage guarantees
- Down payment assistance
- Home-saving programs, and
- Veteran's assistance
In addition, we'll talk about seller financing, as well as 1031 exchanges and lease options. Plus, we'll take a long look at the impact of the TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosure (TRID) mandate and how it works before we take time to look at one of the most important laws in the mortgage loan origination (MLO) industry, the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act (SAFE Act).
