This 8-hour course for Wyoming mortgage loan originators (MLOs) was developed to help MLOs keep ahead of their professional development obligations through this smartly organized and professionally presented package. In our course, we cover a variety of state and federal aspects of mortgage loan origination pertinent to the MLO's daily activities. These subjects include the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 (SAFE Act), ethics for MLOs, fraud and consumer protection, lending standards for non-traditional mortgages, subprime and high cost loans, and reverse mortgages. Plus, we've provided updates pertaining to the laws, regulations, and enforcement powers in mortgage loan origination in Wyoming. In addition, we'll take time to discuss the role of the Truth-In-Lending-Act and Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (TILA-RESPA) Integrated Mortgage Disclosure Act (TRID). And, we've provided quizzes and activities designed to test and challenge your mortgage loan originating skills to help tie it all together.
