In this 45-hour course for salespersons and associate brokers, we'll include everything you need to satisfy your CE requirements. The package combines 24 hours of training on mandatory topics with 21 hours of training on elective topics.
We'll begin with a review of agency relationships, and the contracts that establish them. We'll also talk about risks that real estate professionals face, and how to protect yourself against these risks.
We'll review marketing, advertising, and social media guidelines to ensure that you're using these essential tools properly, and remaining in compliance.
We'll also look at the roles of inspections and disclosures in a transaction, and how you can best serve and advise your clients in these. Then, we'll talk about title insurance, escrow, and closing issues that you may encounter, and how to handle these.
Elective topics that we'll cover include real property law basics, transferring titles, encumbrances, fair housing regulations, common law of agency, general and real estate-specific contract law, math calculations for real estate, property valuation, and financing sources, documents, and regulations.
