This is a four hour course of continuing education content that is intended for real estate professionals in Illinois.

The course will begin by talking about Illinois license law. This segment is broken into three parts starting with an examination of the Real Estate License Act 2000. Then, this segment will address duties and responsibilities of licensed real estate professionals before discussing unprofessional and illegal conduct and disciplinary measures.

The next segment will explore agency and agency relationships in general.

After that will be a segment examining brokerage agreements and disclosures. The first part of this segment will examine real estate representation agreements. The second half of this segment will cover disclosures that must be provided to people involved in a real estate transaction.

The fourth segment of the course will begin by looking at escrow monies and escrow accounts. From there, the segment will discuss fair housing and discrimination.

The final segment of the course addresses advertising and advertising regulations.

To promote comprehension and retention of the content, the course will be broken up by a series of incremental exams.
