Kansas Real Estate Continuing Education

This is the 3-hour required core course for both real estate salespersons and brokers in Kansas. This course counts for 3 hours of continuing education out of the total 12 for license renewal, and is required for all licensees. This course covers a variety of topics, including the Brokerage Relationships in Real Estate Transactions Act (BRRETA), common violations and protecting consumers, advertising requirements, educational and recording requirements, and the Kansas Real Estate Commission’s online services. After this course is finished, you’ll be 3 hours closer to renewing your license, all at your own pace!

This 12-hour package fulfills all your continuing education requirements for renewing your Kansas broker license. In this package, we spend three hours on core real estate topics like brokerage relationships, customer protection, advertising, and reporting requirements, as well as nine hours on fair housing and antidiscrimination laws, financing, and transfer documents. Once you’re finished, you’ll have gone through all 12 hours of training to renew your license, all at your own pace!

Licensees must complete a total of 12 credit hours of core and electives for license renewal. This course will satisfy the 9 hour elective requirement, and is approved by the State of Kansas. This course will cover the following topics:

This dual-license course provides those who are licensed in both Kansas and Missouri with course on the transfer of real estate. This course will cover the various steps in selling a property, starting with how to set up a listing to how to properly perform the closing procedures. Our online course is built for your convenience. The system saves your progress as you go through the course, meaning that you can leave the course at any time and return without losing your progress.

This elective course, which is approved by the State of Kansas, will meet 6 hours of your elective renewal requirements. This course will cover the following topics:

• Government Loan Programs

This dual-license course provides those who are licensed in both Kansas and Missouri with three hours of elective credit for Kansas and three hours of core credit for Missouri. It covers topics dealing with financial reports, brokerage policies and procedures and Broker Supervision and Escrow Account Management.

This course is approved to meet 3 hours of your Elective CE requirement! Regardless if you are a REALTOR® or not, this course covers their Code of Ethics for the Real Estate Industry. At the end of this course students will be able to:

• Interact with other parties in a manner that is ethical & appropriate
• Produce contracts with specific, clear & understandable language
• Explain the rights of parties involved in an ethics complaint or ethics hearing & much more!

This course is approved by a local NAR association to satisfy the NAR Code of Ethics training requirement.
